Come on a stroll through SE27 to salute the hostelries we have lost over the years - and support the ones we still have. As we wander you'll learn when Lower Norwood moved West, why the High Street isn't really the high street, how much the Crystal Palace upset poor old Ruskin, and who or what was responsible for all pubs* now playing music just that tiny bit louder than you would really like.
Whether you're new to West Norwood or you've been knocking about for years this walk is perfect for curious locals keen to see our streets in a whole new light.
