About the event
The nights are drawing in. Witches are abroad. The dead walk. Wolves howl at the moon. Something wicked is coming this way and calling you to join this creepy and fun guided walk. Hear about the Celtic orgins of Halloween and the 'guisers' who predated Trick or Treat. Learn about classic cult movies from the Universal Pictures and Hammer Horror eras and their connections to south London. Experience some macabre poetry and monolgues. Track down the Waterloo poisoner, the notorious 'zombie' hospital ward, ghosts in theatres and underground stations, gruesome murders, and the truly gothic Necropolis Railway.
Plus an excerpt from Robbie Burns' classic Halloween poem Tam O'Shanter and a reading from one of my own haunting ghost stories.
Choose from daylight at midday on Sunday 29th October or darkness at 6pm on 31st October (Halloweeen)
