About the event
Join Yvonne Shorten, professional qualified Lambeth Tour Guide, for a 90-minute walk, starting at the Rookery Cafe and ending at the Streatham Memorial Gardens. This walk is suitable everyone who is interested in the history of Streatham and its inhabitants through the ages. We will talk about the power of water and the healing wells. We will celebrate the powerful voices of an inspired preacher and a Streatham Suffragette. You will learn some local history as well as be entertained.

Good to know:
No dogs allowed as we will be in a ‘no dog’ area for part of the walk. There are toilets adjacent to The Rookery Café at the start of the walk and in Tesco supermarket, at the finish.
Children are welcome, accompanied by a responsible adult. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Refunds aren't automatic and must be requested.
