The Daleks 60th Anniversary

Doctor Who has had his 60th anniversary. Now it's the turn of his iconic adversaries, The Daleks. This walk looks at their history, development, and cultural impact since their first startling monochome appearance in December 1963. Including the stories of the Lambeth born set designer and Brixton born voice actor who were crucial to their legendary sound and appearance. Along the way visit locations where Daleks have appeared in Waterloo and tales of the various encounters between the Doctor and his companions and these robot encassed mutant creature determined to 'exterminate' them.
