About the event

This inclusive LGBTQ+ led walk will take you through the first station in Britain to have a permament art exhibit to our community and their central role in ths city. We’ll discuss the current scene, the vanished venues and the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens’ role in shaping society queens and drag icons and more.

Will you pick a beehive, eagle or a black dog? We’ll pop by one of the most unique cafes in London and discover why DIY is so big in some parts of the umbrella. We’ll ponder a sign of gay liberation before going on a bear hunt and talking about why Pride is a protest.

Get to know the best of Vauxhall! This tour is a perfect way to mark Pride if the main parade isn’t for you but you are meeting people after it finishes.

Please meet at Vauxhall Tube Station by the pink bus hut…
