Become a Lambeth Tour Guide - they did!

Meet our newest guides!

Congratulations to the class of 2024-25 who have now officially become Lambeth Tour Guides after completion of a nine month course at Morley College.

We enjoyed a beautiful graduation ceremony on 3rd July, lead by The Mayor of Lambeth, Adrian Garden, and the vice chair of Lambeth Tour Guides Association, Sonia Winifred in the Council Chamber of Lambeth Town Hall

Do you want to Become a Lambeth Tour Guide too? Maybe you love telling a good story, or maybe you would like to learn more about the places and the people of Lambeth. No experience is necessary, and you will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic group of learners, guided by an experienced teaching team.

The course runs from September to June on Thursday evenings at Morley College Waterloo site and on alternate Saturday mornings in different locations in the London Borough of Lambeth.

Recent graduate Diana said "The course was definitely challenging and compelling. Having completed it, I feel like I am at the start of a journey; the course has supplied me with the tools and direction and sent me on my way. I now feel like I am part of a community of tour guides!"

Course Director Sarah-Jane Miller said "We are delighted to welcome our newest tour guides to the Lambeth Tour Guides Association. They bring with them a vast knowledge of Lambeth and various different areas of expertise including art and artists, windmills and post boxes, theatres past and present, true crime, all things Streatham, and ventilation shafts! I am very proud of their achievements and look forward to going on their guided walks."
